Hi, my name is Michael - though you can call me Mike - and I've been making music of many kinds for more than 30 years.
You might catch me at a Renaissance Faire, strumming my guitar as the Wondering Bard (yes, it's a pun). Or writing a new arrangement for my a cappella group, Myschyffe Managed. Or directing a performance of TransPosition Vocal Ensemble, NH's chorus for Trans singers and Allies. (Yeah, I get around.)
And you know the old saying, "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach"? Well, I don't subscribe to that. I love to teach!
I offer private lessons in voice and several instruments, as well as music theory, songwriting and arranging, in a comfortable, friendly space at my home in Somersworth, New Hampshire. I especially enjoy working with adult beginners and with those who believe they "have no talent."
